I was brought up in a medium sized house with a medium sized family, on a humongous hill. When I was a baby, my medium sized family played music to me to get me to go to sleep. They had little or no success I found the music entertaining and since they only played me one CD of old-time music, within a months duration I had memorized half of the songs on the CD.

As I grew up my siblings discovered that I had a gift of rhythm to utilize this talent, they purchased me a cajon (a box that makes most all drum noises only more compact. Cajon means box in Spanish).

I have been playing it for 3 years now and I enjoy it.
