Tom
Greetings, oh unsuspecting reader. They told me to write about myself, but they didn't specify how much to write.
Unlike the others, I had no musical skill as a child, couldn't carry a tune in a paper bag. However this (unfortunately) did not stop me from vocalizing... but eventually matters improved... they tell me. I'm now the go-to bass and tenor of the group (not baritone, that's Mary. It's confusing but it works). I also play banjo, guitar, whistles, bodhran (That's an Irish frame drum), mandolin, and musical saw. Basically music is addicting, and for me guitar was the gateway instrument to a whole slew of other, more deadly ones. (my family was often incredibly tolerant of my incessant plunking on the banjo, screeching on the whistle, and wailing on the saw.)
I am also the sound engineer and music choreographer for the band, making sure we sound our best. I could expound for minutes on the subject of frequencies, decibels, arrangements, and countermelodies, but I'd better stop now. After all, you still have three more bios to read.
