I have been playing fiddle for ten years  (confidentially  its very addictive) and seeing as I am eighteen that means I have been fiddling around for about half my life.  I think I first developed my appreciation for music in my infancy when my mother, at a loss at to how to get me to stop crying long enough to go o sleep, played Irish music to me.  She was more successful than she anticipated I have been hooked on music ever since.
